Research interests

Research interests

My main research interest is in computational mechanics. I am currently focusing on modelling contact of bodies either under large deformations or exhibiting brittle crack propagation. under small strains. I am also interested in diescrete and continuous modelling of unsaturated flow.  

Biography

I was awarded my MEng degree in Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2011. I completed my post graduate studies in the University of Glasgow with thesis under the title "Hydro-Mechanical Network Modelling of Porous Geomaterials". I am working as a research associate at the University of Glasgow since October 2017.
