Residence Life is a service that supports students in University of Glasgow accommodation and our partner residences.
We are here to help you settle in by sharing knowledge about halls and university life, listening to you, and highlighting university services that you might find helpful.
Events and news
Residence Life organises regular events for you to make friends, try new activities, develop skills, and get the most out of your time in halls.
Reslife at UofG halls
The Residence Life teams based in UofG halls offer out of hours support to residents by phone, email, and in person. The duty Residence Life Assistants are on call from 6pm to 8am on weekdays and 24 hours at weekends.
Reslife at partner halls
The Residence Life Wardens based in our partner halls offer support to UofG residents by appointment and at regular drop-in sessions. Out of hours support is provided by your accommodation provider.
Residence Life 2025-2026
Remodelling of the Residence Life Department will take place prior to the start of the 2025-2026 academic session. Although there will be no Residence Life Assistant positions, there will be the opportunity to enrol in volunteering posts to help organise events at each residence.
